This Ain't A Preview But J. Cole Drops "Cole Summer"

Elliott Wilson, from Rap Radar, said it right! "It's Light Skin Season!"

The Roc Nation MC, J. Cole dropped a new song entitled "Cole Summer" April 29th. In the record Cole rapped on a Lauryn Hill sample of "Nothing Even Matters". Cole clearly let's us know in the beginning of the record that "this ain't a preview" to his upcoming album ,"Born Sinner", which will drop June 26 (the same day as Wale's album, Gifted).

"Cole Summer" was an expected record by J. Cole (not that it was horrible; it was a hit and I loved very bar on the record, it was just another genius record, as always... Thanks Cole). In the record, Cole mentioned rapper, Drake, stating, "Throw thousands in the club with Drizzy, the only problem is I'm throwing 4, he throwing 50". Cole also rapped about how his label (Def Jam/Roc Nation) didn't think he could sell an album in the summer ( even though he is about to drop his album in the Summer, matter of fact, this Summer anyways). Cole then rapped about how if the album flops, him and mom will go back at walking to the post office; hince the single's artwork of his mothers walking towards a U.S Postal truck.

We needed this record, in general, Hip Hop needed this. J. Cole always does his fans right anytime he drops a track! J. Cole even announced on Twitter that he is going to drop "Truly Yours 2" today, April 30th.
