The "Bad Remix" featuring Rihanna definitely gave off a whole different vibe to me, may be because Rihanna was on it, well actually that is the exact reason. Rihanna put her own swag and personality in the hooks which made me love the song even more (because I didn't like the original version at all; sorry Tara Thomas). What was so different about the remix was the production which made the song more of a club vibe (I hated the squeaking bed sound) and the back and forward dialog between Rihanna and Wale gave it more flavor. Anytime I hear the remix song I ask myself, why did Tara Thomas make the song so boring in the original version? Even in the video she was just so.....boring. Is the label holding her back? Or is she really that boring? As I digress, the dialog between Rihanna and Wale really made the song a good look, even the fact that Rihanna was featured in the song was an A+ by Wale (Def Jam featuring Def Jam). Rihanna and Wale spit, "A bad girl want a real nigga because real niggas just want....ahhh! So it seems like we're caught up in the wrong thing, got a thing for a queen that don't wanna leave. Got a thang for a king, but you ain't a real king, Seems like the ones that are wrong, they ain't got a ring." I think that more people will vibe to this song than the original to be honest, plus the song will get more spins because Rihanna is a household name.
